VMSS supports vessel requirements for selected lifesaving, firefighting, and breathing equipment. Requests are reviewed according to the
equipment type, specification, quantity, vessel requirement, delivery timing, and applicable operating conditions. Any certification, inspection, or approval requirement must be confirmed separately for the relevant item.
Lifejackets, immersion suits, lifebuoys, distress pyrotechnics, and other requested lifesaving items.
Portable fire extinguishers, fire hoses, nozzles, fireman's outfits, and related firefighting equipment.
SCBA sets, cylinders, EEBDs, and other specified breathing equipment.
Request received with details of vessel needs.
Requirements reviewed against availability and port conditions.
Supply arrangements coordinated with relevant parties.
Supplies delivered and received on board as arranged.
