Veins Marine Engineering Solution (VMES) was established in 2010 by Mr. Masudur Rahman Sohel and Mr. Eharam Efad, with a focus on marine engineering and technical support. The company’s development created the practical maritime foundation from which the wider Veins Group continued to grow.
In 2011, Veins Group was registered as the broader structure connecting the founders’ maritime activities. The Group provides the umbrella under which its businesses can develop with clear roles, distinct identities, and defined areas of responsibility.
VMSS was subsequently established to develop a dedicated vessel-supply function within the Group. Its creation reflects a deliberate separation between engineering and supply: VMES remains focused on technical and engineering requirements, while VMSS concentrates on the practical supply needs that arise during a vessel’s port call.
VMSS continues to build its own identity, supply network, operating processes, and customer relationships. The company draws on the maritime background of the wider Group while developing its own way of working around clear communication, organised coordination, and responsible handling of vessel-supply requirements.
